Apparently there has been gossip and a lot of misinformation being spread.
We feel we the need to address some things as a Licensed Rescue.
P&C is a Licensed rescue who CAN intake, adopt and/hold animals. We currently are foster based while a shelter is in the plan for the future.
Since 2008, we have spayed and neutered over a thousand animals, helped numerous people with medical care, provided many pounds of dog food and cat food, adopted out pets, transported animals to sister rescues and provided education to citizens in need.
Just in 2021 we coordinated with several rescue groups to help stray and abandoned animals, helped people find missing pets, and spent many hours in talks with the county commissioners working on ordinances/and animal control. We are not “ inactive” but we do not post most of our work or accomplishments, we just go about our day to day activities.
however, all of our activity is available for public knowledge per 501c license law and we will be happy to provide that to anyone who has a concern. We keep our records up to date and within legal definitions. We are always looking for volunteers in the community and welcome the opportunity to share in the experience of rescuing, fostering and saving animals in our community.
